Tour Program

We are pleased to provide all IMS2018 attendees and their guests with a wide variety of tours and other activities for your enjoyment during your stay in Philadelphia.

We have retained the services of SpecialtyUSA, LLC., to handle all aspects of tour registration and logistics. We encourage attendees to register online at the link provided below for each tour.

Online reservations will be accepted through June 9 at  and we are anticipating that an on-site tour desk will be available beginning June 10 for you to reserve tours in person.

COLONIAL PHILADELPHIA EXPERIENCE- featuring the National Constitution Center admission  
Monday, 11 June - Offered 9:00 to 13:00 and 13:00 to 17:00 
The Colonial Philadelphia Experience is a fully-guided tour on foot through America's Birthplace - the heart of Philadelphia's historic district including a visit to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center (ticketed) among a host of other sites.

Tuesday, 12 June 12 - 9:00 to 14:00 

Guests will enjoy have a Philadelphia Then & Now tour seeing the major sites and landmarks of the city from "the bottom" (by bus) to "the top" (at the 57th floor of One Liberty Observation Deck) and from the Colonial Capital of America to the modern day metropolis that has become Philadelphia.  This is the complete Philly tour! 

Tuesday, 12 June - 12:30 to 16:30

No matter which team is your home team, behind the scenes tours of Philadelphia's sports facilities make for an exciting day!  Tour includes a visit to the Lincoln Financial Field, home of Super Bowl Champions Eagles and Citizens Bank Park, home of Major League Baseball's Phillies. 

Wednesday, 13 June - 10:00 to 14:00

Surround yourself in the watery world and rich aquatic life of the Adventure Aquarium during this self-guided visit.  After lunch (on own at aquarium) we’re off to the Battleship New Jersey for a guided tour of her awesome 16" gun turrets and other weapons systems, the Admiral's and Captain's cabins, communications center, navigational bridge, Ward Room and berthing area. 

Thursday, 14 June - 8:30 to 16:00

A full-day tour to the beautiful countryside of nearby Lancaster County, home of one of the largest Amish communities in the United States including a traditional "pass-the-platter" lunch and guided tour of Amish farmlands and cottage industry businesses.

In addition to the above tours, we are offering two additional tours—

We are offering a free tour of the world famous Wanamaker Organ given by an MTT member. The instrument, built from 1905 to 1930, contains about 30,000 pipes and was designed to emulate a symphony orchestra (and beyond).  It is one of two instruments that can be considered the largest in the world. This tour includes a tour within the organ and a concert afterwards. Tours are Tues, Wed 12 and 13 June from 10:30 AM to noon. After the tour there is a 45 minute organ concert.
